Novig promo codes, what the terms actually say

Novig is unusual in this category: it publishes its promotion terms as actual numbers. There is a referral bonus with a stated amount, a stated qualifying deposit and a stated cap, which is three more hard figures than Kalshi puts in public. So this page can do something the equivalent Kalshi page cannot: tell you what the offer is worth before you sign up. It can also tell you the two conditions that quietly shrink it, both of which are in the terms and neither of which is in the headline. The credits are narrow, and your own credits only arrive once you have traded.

KEY TAKEAWAYS
Novig runs "Give $50, Get $50", sponsored by Ludlow Exchange, LLC, a CFTC-designated contract market, and running for one year from 8:00 AM ET on 1 October 2026.
Five referrals, each worth five $10 credits, is $250 in credits across the promotion, and that is face value, not cash.
So a Trade Credit is worth its face value only if you were already going to place a single trade, as a take order, at or beyond the minimum price, on a permitted market, before the expiry date.

The referral offer, in full

Novig runs "Give $50, Get $50", sponsored by Ludlow Exchange, LLC, a CFTC-designated contract market, and running for one year from 8:00 AM ET on 1 October 2026. A referral does not qualify if your friend's qualifying deposit was made before that date.

Your friend gets $50 in Trade Credits under the New Member Deposit Program
You get Five $10 Referral Credits per qualifying referral
Their qualifying deposit $10 or more
Your cap 5 referrals
Maximum you can earn $250 in credits (5 x 5 x $10)

To share your link at all, you must have no open compliance investigation or suspension on your account and fewer than five referrals already issued or pending. To receive your credits you must also have:

  • completed at least five trades,
  • put at least $50 at risk on them, and
  • deposited at least $10 in total.

If you have not done all three when your friend qualifies, your credits are held as pending for 30 days. Meet the thresholds inside that window and they are issued automatically; miss it and they are forfeited, and meeting them later does not restore them. Your friend's $50 is not affected either way.

Your friend must sign up through your link, verify their identity, link a payment method and make that $10 deposit. Each new member can be referred once, and the promotion is "not available in all jurisdictions; void where prohibited".

The cap is the number to notice. Five referrals, each worth five $10 credits, is $250 in credits across the promotion, and that is face value, not cash. If you found this page planning to promote a referral link at scale, the ceiling is reached on your fifth successful sign-up and there is nothing above it.

A $50 Trade Credit is not $50

Credits are the most misdescribed part of any promotion in this category, including this one. "Give $50, Get $50" is the headline, but your side is five separate $10 Referral Credits, and the terms are tighter than free money:

  • They expire in 7 days. A Referral Credit not used within seven calendar days of being issued is forfeited.
  • They have a price window. A Referral Credit can only be used on a trade priced "no less than $0.01 and no greater than $0.60 per Contract".
  • Any unused part is lost. If a credit is worth more than the amount you apply to a trade, the remainder is forfeited and does not carry over.
  • They are not cash. Proceeds from a trade made with a Referral Credit settle to your account as funds, but become withdrawable only once you have executed trades worth as much as the credit, after it was issued.

Your friend's $50 is a Trade Credit, and Novig's own FAQ sets out the rules for those:

  • One trade, in full. A Trade Credit "must be used in full on a single trade" and "can't be divided or applied partially across multiple trades".
  • There is a price minimum. Novig's example is 66.7%: the trade must be priced at that level or longer to qualify.
  • It expires. Every Trade Credit carries an expiry date, after which it disappears and cannot be applied.
  • Parlays are allowed, make orders are not. Novig now says you can use a Trade Credit on a single trade or in a parlay, but "Trade credits can only be used on take orders, not make orders."
  • It may be restricted further by sport, league or trade type, depending on the specific credit. Your friend's $50 also has its own expiry, eligible price range and withdrawal rules under the New Member Deposit Program, so check those before counting on the full amount.

So a Trade Credit is worth its face value only if you were already going to place a single trade, as a take order, at or beyond the minimum price, on a permitted market, before the expiry date. Otherwise it is worth some fraction of that, and if you forget it, nothing.

How the price minimum reads

Novig's FAQ says a trade must be priced at "66.7% or longer (i.e., 50%, 25%, etc.)" to qualify, and that "Trades priced shorter than the minimum (like 75%) won't be eligible." Longer odds mean a lower price, so 50% and 25% clear a 66.7% minimum and 75% does not.

An earlier version of this FAQ contradicted itself here, listing .75 as an example of an eligible price. Novig has since corrected it. If you have had a Trade Credit rejected on a trade you thought was eligible, check the price against the minimum first: the order slip can show a credit as available even when the trade you have built does not meet its requirements.

The Points Program, and what it pays

The Points Program is the other half of what people mean by "Novig promo". It rewards you by monthly tier, in credits rather than cash, and it has terms worth reading before you rely on it.

Participation requires an affirmative opt-in. A member who has not opted in earns no points and accrues no tier status. If your points appear to have stalled, check that you are still opted in, then check the date: point totals reset to zero at the start of each monthly period. Your opt-in covers the current program only, so if Novig launches a successor program you must opt in to that one separately.

An earlier version of the terms said a change to the terms voided your enrolment. That clause is no longer in the live text: Novig now says any change to the Program is made by a new CFTC self-certification filing, and the fixed values in the filing apply for the term of the Program.

How points accrue

Five activities earn points, and only eligible executed trading activity counts. Separately, Trade Credits may not be used through programmatic or automated trading.

Activity Points
Eligible parlays 10 points per $1 risked, at odds of .5 or longer, awarded on settlement; pushes and voids do not qualify
Filled maker orders .1 point per $1 of filled volume, capped at 5,000 points per market
Live take orders 3 points per $1 staked on matched take orders on live events; pre-game take orders earn nothing
Daily drops 50 points for each of three, plus 100 bonus for completing all three
Referrals 5,000 points per friend referred, for up to 5 friends

Two traps in that table. A maker order that fills immediately against existing liquidity is treated as a take and earns no maker points; only the portion filled later by other takers counts. And if a maker order voids or pushes, its points are clawed back, though any reward you already unlocked with them stays.

One more. Novig's earning article says the daily drops need no opt-in, while its Points terms say a member who has not opted in earns no points, so opt in before you rely on either.

What the tiers pay

Tiers reset at 6:00 AM ET on the first of each month. Each tier you reach unlocks Reward Credits, which are Trade Credits, Deposit Matches or both, and every member who reaches a tier also shares in that month's Incentive Fund, which is "paid as Trade Credits, not cash". Novig's terms give no payout time, only that the fund is distributed at the end of each monthly period. Each Reward Credit must be claimed within 7 days of being made available and then used within 7 days of being claimed, or it is forfeited.

The terms leave the tier thresholds and the size of the fund to Novig's CFTC filing. For October 2026, Novig's rewards article names six tiers, Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby and Obsidian, and lists these fixed rewards from Bronze up, alongside a share of the prize pool and a custom order slip:

Tier Points to reach Fixed rewards
Bronze 300 One $5 Deposit Match
Silver 1,800 One $10 Trade Credit
Gold 12,000 One $10 Trade Credit and one $10 Deposit Match
Ruby 40,000 One $25 Trade Credit
Obsidian 125,000 One $50 Trade Credit and one $25 Deposit Match

October's total prize pool is $500,000, shared by Bronze and above, with the prize growing by tier. Novig calls it a cash prize but defines it as "a credit that can be used to place orders on the platform", which fits its terms saying fund distributions are Trade Credits, not cash.

But note what is not published: the article says "Exact amounts distributed to each tier will be determined at the end of the month." The pool is a known number; your share of it is not knowable in advance. Novig's terms add that the fund is allocated by a "fixed, predetermined methodology", so the method is set even though your payout is not. Points themselves "have no cash value" and cannot be withdrawn, and Reward Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or withdrawn either. Credits from the fund are subject to the withdrawal terms in Novig's Rulebook and Member Agreement.

The real Novig promotion is its fee schedule

Worth saying plainly, because it applies to every trade you make rather than once: Novig charges nothing on pre-game straight trades and nothing on any maker fill, on app, web and API alike.

Per 100 contracts at 50¢, that is a fee of $0.00, against $0.75 on a live in-game straight trade at 0.03 and $2.50 on a parlay at 0.1.

The standing exemption lasts as long as the schedule does, while each referral credit expires in 7 days. It is also the reason to read "no fees" carefully: it is true of pre-game and maker activity and false of live trades, most futures trades and parlays. See the cross-venue comparison for where that sits against the other exchanges.

Promotional terms change faster than fee schedules

Everything above is dated. Novig may modify, suspend or terminate both the referral promotion and the Points Program. It says changes to the Points Program terms come only through a new CFTC filing, and the referral promotion has a stated one-year term from 1 October 2026.

This page is re-checked against Novig's own help centre on a 30-day cycle for exactly that reason. Check the app for the offer that applies to your account before acting on any figure here.

Referral terms, points mechanics and Trade Credit rules read from Novig's own help centre articles listed above, re-read on 2026-10-07. The October tier thresholds and prize pool come from Novig's October rewards article, read the same day; the full tier schedule sits in Novig's CFTC filing, which this page has not read. The $250 referral ceiling is arithmetic on the published terms: five referrals, five $10 credits each. Fee figures computed from Novig's published fee schedule are recorded as stated rather than verified, because Novig publishes the coefficients in prose and gives no worked table to reproduce them against, which is a weaker claim than the one made on our Kalshi and Polymarket pages and is flagged as such. The price-minimum examples are quoted from the Trade Credits FAQ as it reads today, so you can check them yourself.
